2002 Honda Accord EX 5-speed upper radiator hose replacement.
I was driving down the road and had the infamous white steam out of the hood experience. Luckily it was a $20 hose at Advance I bought to replace my 197k mile, 18 year hose!
I will note the engine temperature got MUCH hotter than I would've liked pulling into my driveway. Luckily I drive a manual so I had it in neutral every second I could. Had it reached a temp I was not comfortable with, I would've pulled over again and filled the radiator up enough to get home.
Every car has their own hose. Call a local parts store, and/or use your internet searching skills to find yours. This is a VERY easy job, but I know people that couldn't do this on their own and it would be a shame if you took you car to a dealership for something like this! Try it; you can do it!
Most important: let your car FULLY cool down before starting the replacement! Make sure you check your radiator/coolant level a few times over the next few days after doing this to make sure everything is where it should be. NEVER, ever, ever drive without coolant!
Good luck!
