Upton Estate is an absolutely beuatiful house and gardens in Warwickshire in the UK. Built in the 17 century the house was the home of the Bearsted family until it was handed over to the national trust in recent years.
While the entire estate is beautiful there are two stand out features to draw you here. In this video we see the first of them, the outstanding collection of paintings. The galleries of Upton House contain a great wealth of works from British and Continental Old Masters. Spanning from the 15th to the 19th century. Not only are they a joy to behold but the setting to view them in is perfect as well.
The second great feature is the impressive garden. I'll do another video to showcase this as squeezing it in with this one just won't do it justice.
As the estate is managed by the national trust you can find all the usual facilities. With shop, tea room and toilets all on site. There is a significant amount of parking but it is about a 5-10 minute walk from the cars to the house iteself. For the most part the paths are paved, although can be quite steep going into the lower gardens. Inside is good as well with access to a lot of the house available for mobility impaired.
