I thought you were doing a Throwback Thursday for a minute there Hedgy - I was 7 in 1972 and I do have a copy of Demons and Wizards. I love it, especially 'Eazy Living'. Excellent band and underrated even in their day. Love those groovy keyboards ! This is 'put on your purple, flared cords and dance around the kitchen while making a fondue rock.' Cheers.

I loved it! I had their 1970 8-track '...Very 'Eavy ...Very 'Umble' though I bought in '75. I played that 8-track until it bled through to the other side of the tape. If you want to hear something wild check out Bird Of Prey by Uriah Heep. Definitely proto-metal. Oh, any Dickens fans out there?

It's decent, even almost catchy, but yeah it's not for me... I always thought classic rock suffered from being of an era where production wasn't what it is now, and listening to this maybe that's part of the reason I never liked it because I like this more.
