I mean yeah but the bulges on it make it ugly, the MI-26 has a higher payload and looks better in my opinion.

A quick story...chinook summer of 1975...viet nam. I held the last bridge out. 720.000 American troops had snunk out in 90 days... In viet nam... we level the whole country. So we could make reverse movements. Each DEFENCE line was 85.000 men on each, code name blue line green line... There were 5 bridges to get to us. EOD , blow up the outter 4 bridges forcing the north and south vietnamese into a chock area.. we mined 4 miles back and 3 miles wide for just that.... We the last American troops were laoned on the last navy ship.... I held the last bridge with the 50 caliber, we had dug amo bunker under ground d, lock feed MILLIONS of round ds. To be fired non stop just over the heads of our troops. When a barrle was smoked, a new one was clicked in seconds..... When the ORDERD to blow the mine field was given... snipers, shot the trigger mound, that started the chain reaction, pile of Eod. Amo, blowing up KILLING everything for miles.. I walked accross, the last bridge standing. Walked over to the American flag... A WW2 vet pop up, and played taps on his trumpet. We both took the flag, down, sniper fire started back up... a chinook, the last one out was waiting for me... I walked to it... Pentagon, later yelling why didn't you run... Easy, sir,.. mot going g to disrespect our dead by Running away... we won that DAME war.. As the chinook... took off. Smoke, every where.. COULDN'T see shit... I asked the pilot to go back for a look, ..when we did, ..for 4miles back, 3 miles wide.... there was nothing , every north's tank go e, every troop CARRYER gone, every single vietnamese north milttary.... gone. Sealed estimates were in 90 days American troops wiped out 850.000 vietnamese troops. It was not a draw... it was a 100% win...

Jai hind Ch 64 Chinook helicopter is a best product of USA company where output of a engine is utilised to its maxi limits and it's engine performance and endurance is best one with its compact design and Indian thinking of purchasing this helicopter is a best step so far with a combination with Apache to head any operation in future. Better combination.

Think they started flying the great CH47 back in mid 1960's and sure a hundred years later some will still be flying. 3 way contest who will have longest years flying: CH47 HUEYS or B52 bombers.
