@@danielzpcsk85 by applying the minor's US passport, the passport will be their proof of US citizenship. They will not receive N600 certificate. But if you really want your child to have the certificate then pay the $1.385 and complete the N-600 application form. Otherwise, the passport is enough for them. My kids got their US passport in 2010. Thet are all adult, 30-29-25 years old. Never have problem with just having US passports.

I will answer your question, yes. Apply in person, they will put them in the same envelope. I did this with my 3 kids. Right after I got my neutralization certificate, I applied for my US passport with my 3 kids as well all the same time.
