This is a custom USB-C quick charge setup I made for the Honda Rebel 500 that installs easily and will charge your devices with the bike on or off! All the stuff I used is linked below. Any questions, just ask!

I have heard from people if you are running the ABS model, there might be some stuff in that location! So I would check 1st, I have non ABS so that area is empty space.

Whats yo brother sick bike n sick video I love seeing you upgrades and it actually doing the usb and rear fender deletes on my rebel with your guides. I was wondering if there was a way you can send me the templates in actual size for some reason when I use the links to print them out I get them really small.

I just installed a battery tender on my gsxs750 yesterday and it has a USB charge adapter with it figured it would come in handy.

I have seen those but you have to unplug it or the charger will continue to draw power even with the bike off and nothing plugged in

@@EvilNeil187 yea I keep it unplugged mainly wanted it for the battery tender just figured it was a cool bonus but your set up is really clean digging the voltage display.

I removed one of the 12 v outlets in my truck and replaced it with that same outlet.

yeah for sure, unless you are tapping into a spot on the bike that gets power when its on, always put a switch on the USB chargers because they will continue to draw power even when the bike is off and nothing is plugged into the charger. Don't wanna come back to a dead battery!

Douglas, did you ever get it figured out? I have all the pieces, the template cut and the charger and switched fitted into it and I am just scratching my head trying to figure out the wiring from the switch to the charger. It looks like in the video the red and blue wire and attached to one of the prongs in the back of the charger at about 1:57 into the video. Also looks like black and green are wired together but I have no idea where they go or where the yellow goes. I get the red wire goes to the positive terminal and black on the negative, but I just can't figure out how to wire in the switch. My guess is the black and green go to the negative (ground) on the battery and then maybe the yellow goes on the positive? Also not sure about the inline fuse.

Ok, I think I have this figured out. I will post again if it works. Blue and red wires on the switch get wired together and then plugged into the + post on the back of the charger. The black wire on the switch gets wired to the black wire that comes with the charger (and meant to go on the Neg (-) post of the chargner)and that goes to the Neg (-) terminal to the battery. Green wire on the switch gets wired to the Pos (+) terminal on the battery. Yellow wire on the switch gets cut and not used for anything. This setup is for having the light on the switch go on when pressed, otherwise, it will be off. I will post again if this actually works.

Great job, i wonder how long it will take for rust to get into it? That rubber cover looks like it would beat itself to death if you had it plugged in while riding.

I think it will be fine, headlight will block most of the wind in that location, and rush shouldnt be an issue won't be charging in the rain riding, switch is water proof

no thats because you have the ABS model, non ABS is open right there.

If your phone supports it and you have the right type of charger it will quick charge at a higher wattage, you can usually go from about 50% to almost 100% in 30mins on my Pixel 3 XL

I think if you pause the video you can see, or the switches you buy off online have a wiring diagram right on the order page.

Yes there is a fuse inline to the battery, I only briefly mentioned it in the video where I was at my kitchen table
