@DCgames12345 DLine depth is still a concern but our DB room is stacked and our defensive coach hires might make it one of the best defensive staffs: DC: D'anton Lynn - picked up from UCLA after he took their bad defense to top 15 in the country in 1 season, also he was on the ravens staff previously DL: Eric Henderson - picked up from the rams where he was the top NFL DL coach for multiple seasons LB: Matt Entz - Former NDSU HC took them to multiple fcs titles DB: Doug Belk - Former Houston DC and is from the Saban coaching tree

USC has a big bounce back season, they go 9-3 with losses to LSU, Penn State but that could be an upset alert game, and Notre Dams

8-4, Losses to LSU, @Michigan, PSU & ND. No way they are losing to Washington, who have a total of ONE returning starter.

I think this defense will be improved in part because of who the quarterbacks the defense will be going up against. Is there a clear definitive answer to who is by far the best? Drew Allar? Riley Leonard? Tyler Van Dyke? Garrett Nussmeier? And looking at their conference opponents, USC has the best receiving core out of all of them. I wouldn't be surprised if Branch, Robinson, Lemon, and Lane expose a lot of these B1G defenses. All I have been hearing is ask Washington when they played a B1G defense in Michigan, and I said, well, what about when they played Michigan State 2 times and put 41 and 39 on them.

@greg7964 despite all the questions we have about those QBs, (apart from maybe Wisconsin) they have the talent around them that will easily eat the USC secondary alive and impose their will at the lines of scrimmage. If USC runs into a defense like Penn State or Wisconsin and has an offensive struggle in those games, they're in deep trouble.

11-1 (8-1) loss at Washington. Most of their toughest games are at home, and their road schedule is manageable. I think they'll have a big bounce back season

Great Video and great prediction. I feel like taking a loss to Wisconsin should get them fired up enough to get past Minnesota, but if they get caught looking forward to Penn State, they could drop the ball on both of those

11-1 - 10-2 at worst.. These Big10 teams have 0 offensive threat to USC new Defensive scheme . Minn, Maryland, Rutgers, Wisc, Nebraska? 😂 Yall trippin.. USC will easily have a 14-21 point lead by half on all these teams

I think USC wins all of their home games however if there’s one home game that they could lose is that last game against Notre Dame.

In 2023 they went 7-5 in the PAC-12 with Heisman winner Caleb Williams. No way they're beating Penn State, at Maryland and Rutgers their first go round with Miller Moss. USC is a 4-8, 5-7 team in the Big 10.

They go 4-8 or 5-7 if Alex Grinch was still the DC, but he isn't. Keep in mind with that Rutgers game, it's on a Friday night so Rutgers has to fly across the country on a short week to play on a Friday night.

I wouldn't pencil that Rutgers game as a loss. USC has them at home on a Friday night, which means it's a short week for Rutgers, and they have to fly across the country to play them. Hard for me to see a team winning a game in that circumstance

@SG1 Sport, I follow and appreciate your work. it sounds like your only sure wins you are ready to commit wins on are Utah St. and Rutgers. All the other predicted wins are "it could be this, it could be that" 😜 I believe USC will upset LSU in what essentially will be a home game for 'SC due to the short distance to Vegas, the 'SC crowd % will be 80/20. LSU fan knows its a 24 hour drive or a 7 hour connector flight. The only loyal LSU fans who show up will be parents and crawfish. They will have a hard time at the big house. I'll accept the loss there. Wisconsin?? you know that they hired Alex Grinch to run the D-backs don't you? Branch , Robinson, Lemon, Lane, Ford and Hudson will accumulate 350yrds on that home day game. Washington is a toss up that leans toward USC and ND at home is a toss up. Im gonna say 10-2 if we are healthy and D'Anton delivers. If we go 9-3 it will be a bad year. Fight on boys!
