Wallhacks Echelon need to go from the game. As soon as I see that stupid “Revealed by intel suit” or sonar goggles, I know I may as well prep for a death since there’s no counter.

Yeah, plus in those games the tankier characters have larger hit boxes or slower movement speed to compensate too. I think just giving them explosion resistance instead of extra health would be better since it'd be more balanced and keep their role as anchors on objectives in tack.

But every class has different things that can benefit them. Echelon doesn’t come up on mini map so flank instead, use the extra burn damage from cleaners or take a sniper. This isn’t supposed to be another cod clone, it has its own identity as a class based shooter. If you’re expecting every gunfight to be the same then you’re playing the wrong game.

​@andreivaldez2929 Don't forget about overall character appearances and artstyle, that allows to identify even from a far distance which class is this character. I dunno how good Ex-Defecto is in this department right now, but I'm sure Ubisoft will destroy this important aspect of an game by lots of silly cosmetics.

I do feel the same. I feel this passive will always be either annoying or useless if they keep it as is and just tweak the numbers. Libertards used to have +20 max hp on the burst heal and they got rid off it, what made them think a passive ability that is just ongoing is gonna be any different lol

@@lnsanePreist By the end of Year 1, there will be 8 or 9 factions in the game. Thats means about a 12% of encountering a Phantom. Its not consistent if my M4 kills 88% of people in 6 shots but 1 out of 8 people can tank 8 shots. All Phantoms having that boost just creates a case of ‘consistent inconsistence’ when it comes to bullet damage. Its why COD got rid of Stopping Power and Juggernaut.

@@lnsanePreistit’s inconsistent in the way that you usually don’t win against a Phantom by normal means, even if you sneak up on them. It’s the same reason why stopping power was removed and damage increase usually isn’t added in COD’s no more. It’s also why Cleaners are so well balanced, they do 8 damage after you stop shooting and not with each shot. The only time I’ve been able to kill them consistently is with an explosive or coming from behind and they don’t turn around. I get either 180’d and die or die for not being able to get one more shot off. I think that’s WAY too powerful, it should be like as the comment said or have some sort of armor/counter/slight nerf to be 115 as each other passive just doesn’t compare in a 1v1 situation.

Me, for now, I don't mind it, frankly it seems fairly well balanced. But I also don't see any reason for it other than the fact it indirectly buffs some guns like the m16 for their performance against phantoms, but that's not really a good reason if you ask me.

@@Fantastic_Mr_Fox They're definitely overpowered. It's basically the only class I play and I only play it for the extra 20 health. 80h played vs 5h for my next class. I basically run MK 20 and Tac-50 exclusively because they feel good no matter the opponent. If there are dedsecs with hacks on the other team, I just don't use the walls because that's just a bonus on the class anyway.

An interesting idea but after healing from one gunfight, you straight up don't have a passive while everyone still does and you also have to bank on a teammate playing as libertad if you're playing pubs. As they continue adding more factions over time, the odds that someone is running libertad will decrease over time.

The only thing Cleaners make a difference is with the M44. Normally it does 112 damage max (torso) so it can’t kill phantoms with a torso shot, but adding the Cleaner’s 8 fire damage over time, it ensures the kill

@@TerraFirma47 It feels useless on Snipers because a 5% boost to a 38 RPM fire rate doesn’t even increase it to 40, just 39.8. The M44 barely gets more than that. You can only shoot a couple of frames better at best. You’d be better off using the Lightweight Barrel for the big mobility boost with no downside because Snipers have no damage falloff at least in the menu stats.

If I remember correctly from Xclusive Ace's BO3 video on Rapid Fire (it's old af), in that game it was a 6% boost but it still helped the slower RPM guns more than the faster ones because of the way the TTK formula works. You're not wrong in saying that it doesn't boost the nominal RPM on snipers the least but it should be statistically helping the most if you need a second shot, although with 1-shot weapons the best thing is to find ways to make them 1-shot more reliably.

@@andreivaldez2929Yes, that trend does exist, but the Rapid Fire barrel in this game by itself is slightly weaker than the BO3 rapid fire so the trend is weaker unless you stack it with the RoF muzzle (which is a good muzzle attachment for snipers unless you want a suppressor). We also don’t know if the time between firing shots is coded like COD (and admittedly that would probably be something he might cover in a video about Rapid Fire). It can help you if you need a follow up shot, but the Lightweight Barrel I find helps you get the first shot lined up a lot faster which is very important in such a fast paced game. I rock Lightweight Barrel and then the Muzzle Booster a lot of the time for good handling and a slightly better fire rate.

I mainly play Phantom and play the objective BUT if enemy team has two or more spiders, I will immediately switch to DedSec and start to hack them. Objective play goes down the drain but I hate that pure crutch ability with a passion; no other ability actually incapacitates you completely and makes you unable to fight back.

In order of effectiveness: 1. Hack it using Dedsec ability 2. Throw an EMP grenade at your feet 3. Shoot it before it gets to you 4. If it hits you shoot the ground 5. If its glitched and cant shoot the ground then spray forward and hope to kill the opponent with hipfire.
