I love this so much. The pre-9/11 R&B quote resonates so hard, though I’d cut off more like 2007. Post 9/11 we still had some amazing albums and debuts from Ciara, Ashanti, Keyshia Cole, Amerie, and more to come in the next few years. But the late 2000s did see the well dry up of R&B’s two decades long heyday.

Finally a group of people who appreciate Ursher baby as much as I do! I was in 5th grade when I bought the Confessions album. And if you guys remember it came with a poster of him shirtless. I legit took that to school to show my friends but I didn’t want it to get confiscated so I hid it in my shoe 😆 I ended up with a sweaty worn out poster by the end of the day ☠️
