The entire chorus throughout this performance is a backing track and not Usher’s Live vocals.

If he was lip syncing then it wouldn't be live. He adlibs over the backtrack, meaning his mic is on and he's just performing, singing, working the stage which he is masterful at.

The chorus isn’t Live. And that’s what the people came for. Playing the CD just won’t cut it. Nobody’s checkin for that.
