Here I used my dremel 4000 to buff my polymer clay. Such an easy and not too scary way to achieve a great shine. Below is the link on Amazon for the buffing wheel set I showed. Hope this helps

This is great. I have admired your amazing pendants and am learning basic techniques. I figure if I am going to put this m7ch technique into making pendants, I want them to have a super smooth shine. BTW, I like the sound your pendants make when you set them down, a quality sound.

That is really beautiful and I also hope you do a tutorial on it. Good luck on downloading. What a pain! All good info and thank you.

Thank you so much. I have issues with sanding but would do a little wet dry in combination of buffing and resin. I am not seeing the link in description for the buffing attachment you recommended.

You can now get 1 or 2 inch wet dry sanding pads for hand sanders. Just get the correct size shank and adapters, most dremel are 1/8th. 60 to 10,000 grit. such a time saver!

Hi Katie I have a question about the Dremel you have. Do you use specific Dremel sanding discs or can the machine take generic brands. I have jus bought a Dremel micro but can only get course grits. Appreciate your reply if you can. Thanks

Question for you, Katie. Does your buffing pad fling little strings all over when you first use it? I got some, but the material flings little strings everywhere.

Hum maybe your brand is too coarse or clay is softer or something never go lower than like 400 but if u see scratches start 600 or 800 and go as high as u can go 1500 2000 2500 3000 4000

Where do you get different grits for the dremel? I have a 3000 but Dremel doesn’t show what the grits are on the bits, and they seem way too course. They don’t sell 400-1200 which is good for clay…

@@katiegordon610 Wow- I didn’t expect an answer since comments are so old! I got a set online and followed instructions but first try the shaft bent. I think it was too long. I’d really like to no longer sand and buff by hand and have been looking for answers online when I found you. Perhaps my set is just not the right one…
