This Hommie has really educated himself. Im happy he is not incarcerated. When were locked up, living in conditions only a warrior could survive, it pushes you to learn about your races past warrior ways. All the races had a warrior class at some point. So by reading all the books about those battles and single combat it always gave me the courage to be able to do time around dangerous convicts

I like this guy, you could tell he is a legit dude from Maravilla. I lived off of Brooklyn and Eastern for 27 years and what he said about going against the grain is 100% right. Growing up in "The Hole", you're born into it and up against the grain everyday. By 4th or 5th grade you start to really notice things and hear things and it only gets worse. By 6th grade you can already tell who's in gangs, who got shot, who got arrested, who overdosed. You never knew when a shooting was going to happen, get hit up while walking, and you werent even safe from the police. They acted like gang members too. For those who make it out, you are well prepared to take on the world because you learn how to stand up for yourself and pretty much aren't afraid of anything.

I'm frm Long Beach, not a gang member. My only encounter with someone from this hood was a kid that came to a group home i was working in around 2012. He was like 14 and super small for his age. But his heart was BIG. The other southsiders his age tested him daily and he never backed down

The dot styling of tattooing is called stippling in case anyone was curious in those type of tattoos I would look up stippling Chicano style tattoos to see something similar to what he describes

To answer your question as a Stoner from East Los Angeles, in the late 70s early 80s the Stoner generation came to be in East Los Angeles. have had bowel blockages since my first surgery maybe one every six months or so but lately I've had five in seven weeks. I've been had three over night stays in hospital and i'm now on a pureed diet until Prof Morris can operate this week. I have had a tumor around my stoma for over a year gradually getting larger until I could see it coming through around the stoma site. I've been burning it off with silver nitrate for some time but it's now to the stage where its strangled my intestine and needs to be surgically removed. I'm hoping that not too much bowel is taken away as I only have three meters of small intestine left and sometimes have difficulty with energy levels as it is. I'm also hoping that the Prof administers the Bromolin treatment at the same time to help with the other two tumors I know about. Anyway there are worse thing in life and other folk go through much worse than I ever have so onward and horizontal....for a few day's anyway.
