Great video. Works great. Thanks for sharing! The “one shock cord one static cord” per side tip is genius.

Glad it worked out for you!

Great video thanks, I run a WBBB w/ an incubator and have been debating going to a Ridgerunner. I will give this a try.

+madman4049 Give it a try. It is a great hammock and is awesome you can use the same UQ for gathered end hammocks and bridge hammocks so easily.

Have found that I really have not needed the caribiners. If I put the nipple of the spreader bar through the Prussic loops it holds fine and doesn’t seem to damage (anything except maybe the shock cord prussic over time.)

That works also but something clipping into the loop offers a bit more security.

I was leaning toward not getting a WBRR because I am at the top end of what they were saying a guy should be size wise. I am 6' and 235#. You don't look to be a girly man, how do you like your WBRR? If its not too personal how big are you? (As you can tell from the reference though, I'm not exactly young)

When you order, request a stronger head end spreader bar. I got up to nearly 300lbs at one point and was still using the WBRR (probably voided the warranty ;) ). There's a thread on Hammock Forums where Brandon from WB had used 1,200lbs of concrete to bring the fabric to failure. He was also pulling with all his strength on the spreader bar while laying in the hammock and the bar bent and bent but didn't fail. It's extremely robust and all manufacturers build in a safety margin. I haven't found a more comfortable hammock and I have tried dozens of different ones.

I am at240 and weighed 260 when I bought my WBRR and it is great. The widest of the production bridge hammocks, to my knowledge.

no pad needed for bridge? I thought you had to use one. Good video , well explained
@tendertoe17 жыл бұрын
Not at all. The only hammock I know of that requires a pad is the Amok - www.amokequipment.com/. All other hammocks, including bridge hammocks, don't require a pad. Thanks for watching.

I agree. The bridge hammock is quite comfortable without a pad, unless you are relying on the pad in lieu of an underquilt for insulation.
