Hey thanks for reaching out! Yes the pedal reads chords and notes in concert pitch. So if you’re in C on Tenor set it to Bb and in C on Alto set it to Eb I hope that helps 😊

Not all 3 together. But you can use it as Harmoniser + Reverb OR as Pitch Correction + Harmoniser. The left paddle is to enable harmony on every preset and you can also select the key you're playing in so the harmony sounds decent and not out of key.

Hey CH K, thanks for your message. First thing I would say is that using FX live and for recording, in my opinion, should be 2 different setups. The reason being is, because when you're recording in a home studio you need to have the flexibility to easily adjust & change reverbs to make sure it adapts to the track you're recording nicely. On the other hand, when you're playing live with an FX pedal you need to have something easy, plug and play and with effects and reverbs pre-saved, so if you're using a DAW live it can be a bit of a faff and you might have delays, laptop crashing etc. So my conclusion would be get either Log Pro or Q-Base Pro for home recordings and an FX pedal for live. Hope this helps :)

Hey Matthew, thanks for your kind words. You don’t need a pre amp to use the Boss VE-20 pedal. It has built in phantom power if needed and you can go from the pedal output itself (stereo or mono) to a mixing desk for live gigs or an audio interface for recordings (like I’m doing). Some of the wireless ones get pretty expensive, and I'm really agonizing over getting the right one 🤦🏼‍♂️ do you manage fine with a wired (not wireless) mic?

@@olympuschimeric9359 I use both wired and wireless microphone and I usually go for Shure. They have good quality microphones and reasonable prices. You can obviously get more expensive and cheaper microphones. Make sure that if you get a wireless, the frequencies it uses are allowed by your country. This is a very generic microphone for example used by loads of session musicians: www.thomann.de/gb/shure_wb98hc_beta98_miniaturmikrofon.htm You can get a wireless version of it as well. Take a look on here they have loads of different options for clip-on microphones and some of the best prices you'll find.

There's a few steps you need to go through in the menu. It's not a push of just one button. But what you can do you can set your own presets for different keys/pitch and then you'll just scroll through them when you need them.

Even tho I have never tried it I'm sure you can run it through the Roland Cube amp with out any issues. Just plug the pedal into the amp with a Jack or XLR and you should be good to go. You can even run the pedal using batteries if you haven't got a direct power source.

Depends if you want wired or wireless microphones. I use both depending on the gig. I use Shure BLX14/P98H T11 Wireless and Shure WB98 H/C Wired. They're both very basic industry standard, but works well for what I do live. Depending on your budget and what you need it for, there's loads of different options out there.

Hi Stefano, thanks for the comment. I don't think the "SAXBOMB" effect is included as a preset and I've never heard of it to be honest. It could be that someone must have created it as a preset and posted it online for others to download and use. Sorry I couldn't help much more.

Great question! If you press & hold down the right pedal for a few second, the display will start flashing. That means that you can change the presets by pressing the right pedal so you can go through all the different effect (left pedal down one and right pedal up one). If you want to lock an effect to stop it changing when you press the pedals again (maybe if you want to use the right pedal for harmonies) then press and hold the right pedal again on the preset effect you want it to lock onto. Hope that helps :)

Hey, 1 - Transpose the key that you're playing on Alto to concert. For example if you're playing a tune or piece that's in C major for you on Eb Alto Sax, the pedal will have to be in the key of Eb as that's the relative concert key. If you're playing a tune or piece that's in G major for you on Eb Alto Sax, the pedal will have to be in the key of Bb as that's the relative concert key (and so on). If you need help with this look online for Eb Alto sax to concert pitch. The pedal always needs to be given the key in concert pitch. 2 - I'm not sure if it does or it doesn't default back to C, I have never tried this and I don't have this pedal anymore, but from experience with other settings a presets the pedal saves the changes when turned off so I would assume that it will save any changes when changing the key. Unfortunately I don't know 100% for sure tho sorry!
