Using CarPro HydrO2 in a wash bucket

I tested CarPro Hydr02 in a previous video and was very impressed with the results. An individual who commented on the last video asked if it would be possible to use if you didn't have access to a pressure washer and a foam cannon. I thought it would be interesting to test the effectiveness of CarPro Hydro2 in a wash bucket instead of in a foam cannon as intended.
Is it possible to use CarPro Hydr02 in a wash bucket? Yes. Is it as efficient to use in a wash bucket as it is in a foam cannon. No. In this video I used WAY too much product. If I were to do it again, I would only fill the bucket with 1-2 gallons of water figure out the new dilution ration from there.
Would I use CarPro Hydro2 in a wash bucket ever again? No. As good as it was in a bucket, I think it is more effective and efficient to use in a foam cannon.

My Hydro2 soap became like a gel. Cannot get it out of the bottle let alone dissolve the amount I do get out.

That’s really weird. Were you using the foam version or the version meant for wash buckets. I only have experience with the foam version.

@@thedrivewaydetailer foam version. At least it says foam on the bottle. Not sure what the other ones says.

I’ve never had that issue with mine and I’ve never heard of that happening. Maybe it has something to do with shelf life? I use mine pretty regularly maybe that’s why mine hasn’t congealed like yours?

Mine also turned like white gel even though I just bought it from the store. I complained and was told to return the product.

I think it’s so strange that people are having this issue. Do you know what issue is, or can you guess why this happened?

You could've used 1 gallon of water and used 2-3oz of the chemical. You weren't cleaning anything, just applying the product once the car is clean already. 1 gallon of water is more than enough for 1 small vehicle.

That’s a really good point. I honestly wasn’t thinking about that. When I was preparing for the video the only thing I was thinking about was treating it like a regular wash. Now that I think about it 5 gallons was a bit overkill. Thanks for pointing that out, and thanks for watching!

I agree. Waste of a lot of product
