What a great tip! Any way of naming the different lanes?

This is a great feature within reason as far as drums, but that's the only practical use I've found. What would make more since for those new notes lanes is the supporting of multi channels for vsts (such as kontakt or omnisphere). No reason I should have to load 3 dif. kontakts to just use three kontakt instruments. Hopefully reason addresses this soon. Very inconvenient IMO

Have You tried this?.. highlight the midi note clip, open the tool menu, scroll to the bottom & select "Explode" option under the "Extract Notes to Lane" tab

This is a great tip. thank you! Question, can you use midi lanes for multi-timberal instruments. For example, one lane to control a piano and another to control a bass inside one instance of Kontact?

What if you do NOT want to hear the previous recorded lane or "take" I love lanes for layering but what about creating different takes? When it loops I hear previous lanes in mix and do not want to, thoughts?

jbsproductions Dub & Alt buttons beside the record button on the sequencer.. Dub will add a new note late. Alt will also add a new lane, but will automatically mute the other previous takes
