Lmao i'm so used to playing hack n slash games that i always end up killing everyone and if i get caught instead of running away i try to fight them

It also never occurred to me that all buildings have 4 sides that I can anytime choose one of them to pick off any guards I can’t reach instead of running balls deep straight toward them from 1 direction

In older stealth games such as thief and splinter cell, there's a playstyle called "Ghosting" Ghosting is essentially leaving no trace of you ever being there. No guards alerted, not even suspicions and no kills or knockouts. You can take this even a step further and return every non-essential item such as keys in their original places and try to close every door and window after opening to make sure the no one knows how you got in ;) Ghosting is an extremely fun and challenging playstyle that i recommend everyone try some time.

Mirage didn’t have time for a new engine, it’s a great game for what it is. I had fun with it and will likely replay it soon.

Part of it was because people started complaining about the formula (even though Unity and Syndicate was a complete rework of the gameplay so i have no idea what they were whining about), gamers reaped what they sowed and now we got this mess

@@farewelljupiterconsidering unity was released 9 years ago the graphics are very good. Only thing that isnt as good are the Facial expressions of the characters. Everything else is quite good. Especially the lighting is way ahead of its time.

me to man, just reinstalled unity. Baghdad setting would've been great for parkour like this such a shame. especially since mirage was supposed to bring it back to its roots. love the fact that fighting is a last option in mirage but there's no parkour todo anything fun with stealth. same boring animations they've. been using for years now

I only managed 3-4 hours in Mirage. Was too repetetive and boring. This was much more satisfying to play.

Mirage feels better after 10 hours not worse because of the abilities, tools skills made it great

Mirage has such awful dialogue too I had to change it to Arabic just to tolerate it.

parkour mechanics could have been so much better if they took more time designing the system and gave the player more control

Nah the Ezio trilogy still has the best parkour mechanics. You have perfect control over every single move in every single situation. Unity is the best visually for sure, mechanically it's great when it works, but the controls are still really inconsistent.

I've never even seen these types of jumps know knew this was possible in the series. I skipped black flag, unity, and Rogue but caught Odyssey and Mirage. The one handed elements, spins and wall ejects are completely foreign to me

@@rogergilmour9612 you are forgetting some things - Bad story - Bad character - City sure is nice, but there is nothing to do, meaning its dead - braindead NPCs - 0 replay value - Nothing to do after the story - Boring combat - Parkour is great, but very poorly made in terms of control - Gear system is poorly made, you can’t really wear anything you want unless you want shitty stats

@@jarllim4713 the world really feels alive, it has lots of details, the music is masterpiece, the personalization of the character is amazing, the characters are good and you really empathize with most of them, the huge amount of different playstiles in fighting, the possibility of just get a horse in the middle of the night and get lost with the ambience and the music, the map is huge and is not just huge as you can find very detailed things wherever you go, the mission are jun not just going somewhere kill someone and that's it lots of them are curious things, you can raid abbey monasteries etc, you have a settlement which can be improved and it changes visually, you have different horses with great skins, you have the raven which is a good advantage but it is not broken (like this new AC mirage when you can like teleport or something wtf💩), some enemies are powerful and want to hunt you but u can kill em, you can go fishing,hunting, you have not just one map but two, i could tell you more but i think with this is enough to understand why this game is awesome but just doesn't feel like an AC game
