I take these sentimental items that remind me of the happy times from childhood to start a painting series showcasing a cowboy trinket. I share my overall approach to painting, not just the techniques and materials I use including acrylic paint and wood panels, but why I'm painting this subject matter. I talk through how I use my personal interests to help me maintain focus and level up my art skills. I cover how I'm using the practice philosophy from football coach Nick Saban to make sure I'm not just painting until I get it right, but painting until I can't get it wrong.
