In this video, Toronto physiotherapist James Braithwaite demonstrates how to bias work into either your glutes or your quads on a lower extremity plyometric exercise (jumping) by using a subtle shift in trunk position. This is relavent to jumping athletes who want to exercise in a manner that is sport specific. the example of a volleyball versus a basketball player is discussed.

I'd like to point out that your basket-ball jump could be assimilated to the volley ball jump when spiking. Your volley-ball jump can still be used for blocks though.
