The Ammoon Pockrock is a budget guitar modeling effect that works great on it's own, but is even cooler when you stack it with some FX pedals. Get one at amzn.to/2ZCU1HU. I've used this thing on a ton of recordings, and I'm always quite happy with it. In this video I go over some of my custom presets, as well as what it sounds like with a Boss DS-1, Metal Zone, Azor Compressor, and a Danelectro Fab Chorus.

it has very limited effects,but i noticed it has its own noise gate when switched to its stored patches

I got my PockRock in the other day and love it. I have a RP100a and HATE it. This cheap little PockRock does all that I would ever want. I highly recommend it!!!

Is there any significant drop of tone quality by using it as preamp? I couldn't tell Which one would sound better: pedal fx with ammoon pockrock or another digital fx with the price of those pedal fx+ammoon pockrock?

I own the pockrock, I use it to practice on the road mostly with a headset. You gave me some way cool ideas using it as a pre-amp after the petals to the computer or an amplifier. Have you tried the drums tracks?

These are excellent devices . Most paid reviewers give them lame reviews or won't go near them at all for fear of upsetting their big brand sponsors.

cool video man,do you know some device from ammoon or nux or mooer for recording my songs? Something like the old Zoom ps04,i cannot buy that one so i wanna know if there is a similar device out there

not that I know of by any of those companies, but the closest thing new is actually still made by Zoom, the H4N Pro reverb.grsm.io/H4NPro. I'll keep my eyes peeled if anything new comes out.

Why compressor after distortion, instead of first in chain?

well, you could do that, but it brings up the noise of the signal quite a bit before going to the distortion, which makes an even louder hiss that way.

I bought one to use the tuner, and for practicing, but it's a lot better than I expected. The lack of a USB recording output keeps it off my home recording tool list, but for$35 it's really impressive.

Pockrock is great, mine hasn't arrived yet. I bo't based upon YTube videos. But what I find EXTREMELY ANNOYING is how consistently guys set the pockrock pedal on chain saw. That is putrid in itself. But without fail, they chop/hack rapidly accross the strings. No chord changing, just hack violently. Why is that? It's exactly as annoying as when a visiting 3 year old discovers your piano and hammers at it long term while rude mommy looks the other way. No like button for those demonstrations! Move on right now!
