Using the LVL function of the Garmin GFC 500 autopilot

Күн бұрынA wonderful safety feature of the GFC 500 is the LVL button. When pressed it engages the autopilot in roll and pitch modes and brings the airplane to level flight. I firmly believe this will save lives.

Thanks for the video, very nice. I’m in the process of updating my panel, a GFC500 is part of the upgrade. I’m curious though, what’s mount are you using for that tablet, looks like a bracket attached to the windshield bow. Used to have one for a GPSMAP years back but can’t find anything similar for a tablet.

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it. You’ll love the GFC 500, it makes cross country flying relaxing and single pilot. IFR so much safer. The iPad mini is mounted to the windshield bow with a Warner mount, but I don’t think he makes them anymore.
