@@CoatsandGaiters Haha, I got it done in only a couple of hours, only minor injuries! I ended up cutting the springs with an angle grinder which is probably a bad idea, it worked though! Only other problem was rusty shock lower bolts, they needed easing out with wd40 and back and forth motion. Thanks again!

Haha true !!! I'm on the sill now. Have cut open an old helium bottle for the steel to repair the sill with.

Glad to see you are creating new customers for the funeral directors. Why not just buy the fork type compressors and save risking serious injury?

Nothing would fit. I had every type of spring compressor at the time.

Could you not even get the sway bar bolts undone and open the control arm enough to fit the spring without compression? I'm getting ready to tackle this and was planning to remove damper and sway bar thinking I'd get enough space that way?

I'd buy new bolts and just cut the old ones off. Mine were so rusted it was unreal. Maybe an induction heater would work but I don't own one.
