I’m from Austin , I applied Monday did the assessment the same day as soon as I got it , then completed the motor vehicle background report Thursday… I’m just waiting now. I’m excited to start working 🙏 I’m sure I got the job. I applied for so many I’m not sure which one this one is lol 😅

You find out after you get in that the supervisors get a bonus based on your performance. That's why they're pushing you on your timing.

How long did it take for you to get into the academy after your shadow day? I just finished my shadow day and my LLV training this week.

@uspstwan so it’s been over 8 months since you started. I have a few questions cuz I just passed the assessment and did my fingerprints. Have you been able to get 40 plus hours CONSISTENTLY? Also as far as routes go will we have the same set of streets to do so we can get familiar with the houses and addresses?

i completed my motor vehicle record search waiting for "offer letter" from usps. i love your vedio. how is the LLV driving test. does they take you in the road.

No problem. I appreciate you for watching. Rightnow I'm getting some pretty good hours. I still haven't got my first full check. You usually check your time on the Liteblue site they have, but it's not letting me look at it for some reason. I've been going into overtime on multiple days though, so it should be decent. I might post a video about that, when i can give you a more definite answer.

It has it’s ups and downs. It can be stressful at times, but you can’t take that home with you. I wish they payed a bit more, but if you’re there long enough, the will. And yes I’m still there, I hit 2 years on the 16th

Hey I just took my test and scored a 96% I’m on the pre hire list for a location about a hour or so away (not opposed to relocating) do you know if they’ll turn me away if I’m far out?

No. They need help. We have some folks at my office that come from about an hour or so away. They just care about you being on time, and doing the job right. I hope everything works out for you.

Thank you for replying! 😊Actually ended up accepting an offer for a location 30 minutes away from me. I’m just waiting on NACI to clear everything on their end and I’ll be in orientation. 🥳

They are guaranteed 4 hrs but they usually get a bunch of hours

I'm close to Austin. I actually did my academy at the Austin plant, but I'm actually north of Austin now. I grew up, for the most part, In Dove Springs
