Actually she's basing it off of her location. I parked directly in front of the PO, not a plant. My walk was 2 seconds, the marshalls scanned me in and told me where to go which was right across the hall, one lady was in there and I was the only other person there.

@@nequa220 I'm in Michigan so can't say for sure if you will have the same experience but it took them about a day to email me back and they gave me a number to call for scheduling.

I am going through the same thing, emailed the lady for the fingerprint appointment on 8/01/20, a follow up email on 8/10/20, and still have not received a reply yet. I completed all the other instructions just waiting & confused about not being able to schedule the appointment

@@randy8362 you only need to email once. They will get back to you. Normally they wait til the have a bunch of people before they send out the info to go be finger printed. Took my person 3 weeks to reply back.

I don't know what else to do I have tried to contact the person from the email the sent me but no luck. The fact they send an email stating the fingerprints have to be done within 5 days of receiving notice but not giving an appointment location/date/time after sending an email is very nerve-wracking. 😩 Like, if they don't give me an email response before the supposed 5 days are up, will I be dropped from the hiring process? It's frustrating. 😔 Reading back on it, perhaps the action they're wanting is the email to schedule the appointment rather than the fingerprinting itself being done? I suppose it would make sense in that way...

@@miked7091 Well two days after I wrote this comment on youtube they sent me an email for the available fingerprinting appointments. Which were wendsday and Thursday 10am - 12 noon. Apparently in lafayette louisiana I don't need to call to schedule an appointment I just go at the available times. I'm just waiting on my orientation email now. But just keep emailing about the appointment. The ball is really in their court now. You just have to wait. They'll get to you when they can. Ik the wait is a killer. It just depends on your post office and how busy they are.

They will normally email you an instruction for your fingerprint. It may take a while. I waited 2-3 weeks before I got an email from them.

I'm going through the same thing right now I have not been able to get through to anybody.

Same with me. I wrote an email to the address that was given. Then I got a reply to wait for the email about the schedule of my fingerprint. It took 2-3 weeks before I got it. Hang in there.

Go back to the very first email you receive. There you can find the email address of the person you need to contact for the fingerprint. That's how it works most of the time. If you feel overwhelmed to read your very first emails, find someone to read it for you. It's kinda overwhelming sometimes and you do not want to deal with it. Ask a friend or loved one to help you.

Hey I have been waiting a few days short of 8 total weeks now for my fingerprints to come back. Did you get yours back and if so how many weeks did it take?

Now recently, I was told MHA's will be brought back, in which I'm hoping I'll be brought/called back, not to reapply for the job the next time it comes back online and I'm already on the recall list. Is that a good thing?

I did my fingerprints in July it’s October still haven’t heard from them. So I called and the fingerprints are being held.

They will email you. It will take time to get the email. Sometimes 2-4 weeks, sometimes less.

@@claudiaegarton2861 don't wait, call the HR. Google search for their phone number. What exact location the usps that sent you an invitation for fingerprint? Lookup their phone number and call. Leave a message if they did not respond. Call them every single day until they respond. Sometimes they need reminders because they are swamped with work and under staffed.

I'm an MPA, I emailed them to request for a fingerprint. I think it's different with CCA, you have to call them to schedule. To be safe, email and call them both. Congratulations!

Anyway, I called them several times , it would rang and directly went to voicemail, I just left my information and hope to get a call. It’s been a week since I called them, still no updates.

I sent them the email (to the only address given to me) to schedule a fingerprinting appointment, but all I got in return was a "general correspondence" email that acknowledges my message and says to follow attached instructions (there are no instructions attached). It looks like this: "Important information requiring your action is attached. Please open the document(s) attached to this correspondence and follow the instructions and guidance contained in the attachments." again there are no attached instructions...only a document that says word for word the same thing as the email. I'm freaking out a little because, like you, the document telling me to get my fingerprints taken says I have 5 days to complete this task. I would really appreciate it if someone knows what im supposed to do.

I don't know the exact reason, maybe the system emailed you twice. To be sure response to the email and let them know you already did your fingerprint. And always be polite and courteous when corresponding to HR.
