I got the position at a New LPC start orientation this month test score was 95.6 plus 10 point for vet status. Monday Tuesday scheduled off days work hours 7am to 330pm. I so happy and got very lucky this job is like finding a needle in space starting pay is $21.05 I plan to study take the 955 and move into a maintenance position 🎉

That is awesome! That's a good plan, maintenance basically sit all day until the machine broke down and you get good pay.

I'm sorry that this happened to you. After listening to the full video, You said the policy was no call-offs in the 90 days. You took a sick day and you had an accident and called out. So far there have been two callouts within the 90 days. You also stated that you reported lazy employees and I'm sure these reports included supervisors. It's sad to say, but you got manipulated into resigning. They targeted you because of the reports. You have to realize that in most of these jobs where the supervisors are chosen from within, they have already established a good relationship with the higher management. What you call a lazy employee has a good relationship with supervisors. Therefore when you're new and reporting issues you will be targeted. Especially when you're in a probation period, they used you few callouts against you to get rid of you before you became a bigger problem. Sad but true🤷🤦

I’m currently working as a CCA and I am having the same experience with management and they give me vehicles where the hazard lights don’t work. I’ve had 3 LLVs break down on me already :)

Regulars will have little to no sympathy for you when you are out there struggling, and will smile at your pain. Other CCA’s will compete and get jealous of you if you are doing better than them, because if you aren’t suffering like them, they aren’t happy. And management they love their regulars, but when it comes to their CCA’s they will get the short end of the stick, every…single…time.

No. Attend your orientation when it comes and start your work at usps when they tell you. If not, you missed your chance. You can reapply next year.

I was a CCA. I quit. Being a mail carrier used to be a good respected job, but it’s not good anymore, the US government made lousy changes to all new hires, especially for CCA’s. First, it takes two years working to become “a regular” and only after two years you get your full benefits. Second, you have to work Saturdays and Sundays. Sundays you are delivering Amazon packages starting at 7am. Say goodbye to your social life. Third, light blue, which is the Usps website is so heavy with security due to fraud that you cannot logon and you’ll need this website to take care of personal things like choosing healthcare, retirement, and direct deposit. Good luck with that. Finally, most managers at most post offices will expect you to deliver all the mail in under a certain amount of time and if you don’t, you will know about it which leads to unfair practices and discouragement. The LLV trucks are very old and can have issues, the only upside to this job is that you’re working alone all day and you’re outside getting fresh air, just know that there are better jobs out there that pay more money with less headache.

If they need you to work 6 days a week they will tell you. We had a mandatory 10 days straight with one day off.
