We had a carrier start today áfter transferring in from Indiana. He had that what did I get myself into look and it was cool in Phoenix this time of year (101) but unusually humid. I drink 16oz bottle with those electrolytes packs every hour. Plus a have a one gallon thermos I drink from roughly every 15 minutes. Then when I get home I drink some body armor w coconut water ( get some coconut water or coconut powder on Amazon) plus roughly 1/2 gallon of fluids. The color of your urine is the key. If it’s near clear or light yellow you are good. Anything darker than that, you are getting dehydrated. A dark yellow near golden color, stop immediately and drink at least 1/2 gallon or you’ll be in full blown heat stroke with the hour. If you are getting dizzy, stop immediately since that’s the first most common sign of the beginning of heat exhaustion. I learned this stuff doing desert warfare training in the military at Death Valley with temps averaging 120 -130 in July.

My first allowance never came in, lol. my post master just lets it sit. station manager gave it to me twice, and now that I am regular I haven't gotten that one either. all the stewards quit.

Bro I had to go to the hospital yesterday I got dehydrated and I thought I was drinking enough water too, but man I started not thinking right, passing up addresses it was scary. Went to the hospital and got some fluids and now I’m feeling better. Just wanna say dehydration is real man Going in better equipped tomorrow
