Nick tomorrow is my 2 day and my OJI is pretty good. He said I'm doing ok but need to pick up the pace and I need to concentrate on not forgetting the parcels in the satchel. But my body is getting a beating its very physical, any tips out there??

If you are working hard post office ,they try to give you more work. If you are working slow or not working they will give you promotion n become supervisor. That's what happened to our post office.

Supervisor told me I’d get 20-40 hours a week but I feel like this guy is just bullshitting me around and I’m bout to get worked like a camel. I currently live in a town with about 11k people. Just hope I get the hours. 20 hours? Seems suspicious

Easy to say don't stress about what isn't in your control if your not having to decide wether you're putting gas in your truck to get to work for a few days or eating dinner for a few days or working to split the difference because the cost of everything is 20-50% more but our wages haven't moved. The only thing I have in my control right now is looking for a higher paying job. So that's what I'm doing

I'm very nervous to start with all the people talking but I've had very tough days catering or working as a bartender standing for over 10 hours at a time. I'm hoping I'll be good but I'm just going to come prepped with my food and drinks and man up. Gotta make a living for myself somehow and stop riding mommy and daddy's coattails. Gives me bad anxiety but one day at a time!
