I love the scene when Chani is teaching Paul about wind traps and he just stares at her, that’s when their love became believable for me ❤

Part two had such unnecessary tension between them, in the book deeply love each other and Chani supports him 100%, much like how Duke Leto loved Jessica, they have each others backs against everyone... Chani kills Paul's challengers right outside their tent and he gets upset that she risks his life for him. She believes in him even more than Stilgar. Literally the only thing in the universe that keeping him sane and his mind held together.

I disagree with a lot of things you said, but most importantly I disagree with “unnecessary” tension. Denis Villeneuve’s Chani was the voice of disbelief from the fremen, but also loved him. This created a beautiful tension that showed how prophecy and religion can tear apart a relationship. IMO, if you want a 1:1 adaption of Dune, just read the books! DV’s changes to characters were absolutely necessary for a cinematic adaption.

@@calderdune I have completely different point of view but I'm not gonna continue vomiting on this video you've skillfully put together, so I will conclude saying, wonderful edit haha :) (I mean that sincerely) I actually love you've used their Fremen names in the thumbnail ♥ honors their relationship more in the books than the movie did in my opinion.

Great Love Story. I want Dune 3 to be a Love story for ages. Zendaya and Timothée have on and off screen chemistry. They both like each other but maybe someday she will admit her feelings for him.
