loved the video! my 10 year old bearded dragon just past away :( so I'm looking for a new friend. I really appreciated you explaining the protocols and labeling of the tank. I never looked at it in that point of view

i'm doing a lot of research but, I'm curious with your experience, anything that would make gila'a feel more comfortable. From having my lizard for 10 years I realized quickly (around a year or two into it), reptiles having stress are usually more dangerous than an actual parasite

Gilas are pretty hardy lizards really. As long as they are not too hot and have a good place to hide they should be fine.

I had question can you hear them breathing? mine breathes pretty loud was wondering if that was normal?

Mine "huff" and "puff" often. Sometimes I can hear them doing some breathing. I think as long as it's not a wheezing and no discharge out the nostrils they're okay.

I don't yet. I'm actually doing a total overhaul this weekend on him so I'll take some video too and be sure to do one in the next year! Great idea! :-)

+Y33T M3RK Most captive bred ones (which all legal ones are) should chill with age. If you handle it when young they get used to people holding it. They really aren't a "hold and hangout" kind of animal because of the venomous aspect and the risk involved. I only handle my gilas for maintenance and the occasional health check. I will do a care video on them sometime! Good idea.
