I do wonder why her children didn't question more what happened to her and the timeline. The kids were older and everyone says she was healthy and active.

​​@@jn3084 she had enough training to know that she was supposed to have her autopsied. My brother is a deputy coroner, and he said she was grossly negligent based solely on the training she had. Even her deputy coroner thought the circumstances were suspicious. I think the coroner was naive and couldn't imagine that something like this would happen in such a tiny town. She was over fremont County, which has a few very, very tiny towns. No excuse. She was negligent and shouldn't be coroner.

County coroner's aren't required to have any medical expertise. Crazy! Always demand an M.E.!

Chad's kid are creepy to hear his oldest daughter talk in the 48 hour interview how someone could dig 2 holes and no one notice it and it was all to frame her dad.and to hear the corner say Emma didn't want her mom to go through that makes me wonder what all the daughter and her husband knew.and the 911 call garth made there was no sadness. Nothing.

It would be very difficult for a child to loose their mother and then comprehend that their father did it. I have seen several cases where it took a couple of years for them to accept it and process it. The blind hope is that it’s not true and the world has not just flipped over on them and both their parents are gone. I think it’s quite natural to hope that their remaining parent is trustworthy. They have lived their whole lives with a belief that their dad loves them and it’s devastating to finally understand who he really is.

The "lifers" wouldn't hesitate to "off" her. Suffering for years for her locked up, will be a painful punishment. She's very weak and once, probably after years, she gets a grasp of how "off" Chad got her with his own ideas of religion, being locked up won't be easy to withstand.

@@loribaker8339 I could certainly be wrong, but after listening to an interview her cousin gave a few days ago on Hidden True Crime, I learned she's way more manipulative and just plain evil than I realized.. Once she "settles in" and learns how the system works? She'll be a predator and quite possibly a shot caller. I can't reccomend that interview enough. According to her cousin, who probably won't be called to testify, Lori's a product of her environment. She was already visicous and vindictive by her childhood and teen year. The whole family was dark and disturbing; especially her father.

In the interview I saw, they knew that her death was attributed to asphyxiation, but they choose to believe that it was due to natural causes and one of them repeated the nonsense Chad spewed about Tammy being ill. In other words, they have been brain washed.

I watched the original dateline with his kids and they definitely think he was framed. They need to take a real look at all what’s happening after they did another autopsy

I thought the same thing. One or more of the kids may have helped hold Tammy down. We will never know, and I never heard of any DNA tests being done. One more possibility is that Chad left the front door unlocked so that Alex Cox could enter during the night so that he could do the actual dirty work as Chad watched or helped out. Keep in mind that Alex was certainly in the area during this time, and he had driven past the Daybell house to scope it out. Chad may not have had the mind that could murder Tammy, but Alex certainly could.

If it’s like where I live they run for election but usually have some medical background at least more than what she has. Our present one is a police officer, in the past we’ve had doctors. Family physicians not Medical Examiners or like this coroner. If needed the body is sent to a medical examiner in a larger city.
