I saw this in theaters and it was the best moviegoing experience I've ever had. There were like 20 people In the audience and once we all realized how awful it was, we all started loudly roasting the film and it turned into a big version of mystery science theater!

What's even more impressive is that the boat captain made it to the shore, a hundred feet away from the boat, whilst being chased by zombies AND HE MANAGED TO KEEP HIS FKING CLOTHES DRY.

The magic of esteemed actor Jürgen Prochnow as the captain is not to be missed.

Best part is near the end they see their friend who they thought had died and they’re so excited to see him, and then it turns out to be the bad guy who is wearing the face of their friend, and their friend is hanging upside down in the corner STILL ALIVE with his face torn off, and then as our heroes make a break for it, they toss a grenade right near their still alive and faceless friend. OUR HEROES!

I watched this movie at my local mall theater during the matinee showing while I was waiting all day for repairs on my car in the shop. I knew it was bad, but I didn't want to wander the mall all day. I didn't think it'd be anywhere close to as bad as it was. There's quite a few straight to video movies that were far better than this movie. The only thing I remembered about this movie before the video was how the characters at the end just started sacrificing themselves for no reason. The movie wanted a sole survivor, but was too lazy to come up with ways to kill off the rest of the cast.

I worked my tail end off this week. This was exactly what I needed to see after coming home after another hard day. Space Ice delivers as always. Thanks a million!

I just remembered the boat captain was in the original movie version of Dune. I want to say he was a priest in another movie but I'm not sure. Allegedly he's pretty closely connected to a lot of nefarious stuff.
