Dear Friends, Try this rich fiber, healthy & delicious plantain stem kootu at your home. it got numerous health benefits and tasty too. It is a very good accompaniment to Rice and any spicy Kuzhambu and Rasam. Enjoy the recipe.
Ingredients:

Plantain stem - 500 grams
Chana dal - 100 grams
Shallot Onions - 15 to 20
Tomato -1
Green chillies - 2
Coconut - 1
Garlic cloves - 6
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Salt
Curry leaves
Oil
