The Chancellor is invited to relax and enjoy a nice interview on The BTN. At least it ends with a bang.

@@NDgamingNL No he does die. If you look closely you can see a few people in the crowd at the end which died in the movie. Specifically the little Girl that got shot by the Fingerman, Valerie and her Girlfriend and also Gordon. Its to show that their fight for freedom and their suffering was not in vain. Sadly he does die

*Points at his double* "That man is the terrorist!" Gordon is in fact implying that Sutler is terrorizing the country under his dictatorship. Everyone living in fear. That both of them get shot shows that the totalitarian government ends up destroying itself. Which sort of becomes true when Creedy is the one who kills Sutler in the end.

Don't be so sure. From US Court of Appeals "On March 8, 2001, Richard Allen Humphreys told others that either he or one of his followers would douse President Bush with a flammable material and throw a match on him. The Government charged Humphreys with making threats against the President of the United States in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 871(a). A jury found him guilty. In projecting Humphreys’ sentence, the presentence report (PSR) did not recommend a four-level decrease in Humphreys’ offense level under U.S.S.G. § 2A6.1(b)(5) (2002), which authorizes a district court to decrease the offense level for threatening communications offenses by four levels if no other adjustments under § 2A6.1 apply and “the offense involved a single instance evidencing little or no deliberation.” Over Humphreys’ objection, the district court* found Humphreys did not qualify for the decrease because he made statements threatening the President in an Internet chat room on February 2, 2001. The district court sentenced Humphreys to thirty-seven months in prison." Admittedly, Rick-Roll here was (and probably still is) a bit of a religious nut-job who had previous encounters with the law (warning authorities President Clinton and Mrs. Clinton were going to commit suicide), but still, rather an over-the-top reaction to what and who most people would consider a powerless, deluded twit. Silly fool, instead of ranting on the streets he should have gone on talk radio, just like Rush Limbaugh!

Ouch Chancellor. I bet you sliced your hand open breaking that glass. I've done it to a plastic cup before and it was quite painful without breaking the skin.

what's with the milk? Is it supposed to be poking fun at the Chancellor's image as a "wholesome" person?

if you look at the neck line of the double it is actually just a computer cast of sutlers face on some blokes body. i think they left the different skin tone of the body to let the people watching the movie know what they did

I have a feeling that Gordon knew the risks of airing this show, but did it anyway because he also knew A) the Brits desperately needed something to laugh at, B) it would seriously piss off Chancellor Sutler, and C) that episode, along with the resulting crackdown (e.g., the show getting cancelled because “Mr. Dietrich unexpectedly died last night”), would only help mobilize the people around V’s message
