@James Brennan I did not say I supported or even liked Trump. I just said his next term will be biblical. All this drama with election fraud, insane leftist agenda being implemented under Biden and his obvious lack of ability to lead a nation, is designed to make the American people demand Trump's return and even spark a armed conflict. He is a Zionist tool just like every other politician in the west. The plan will work because the psychology behind this has been studied for decades. There are however a growing number of people who see right trough these Zionist strategies and tactics, and we are going to totally change this whole world. Armageddon is coming, you are witnessing the beginning of WW3. All of the news media is fake and we've known it for years. Before Trump and Covid it was normal to distrust the media and politicians, it was a bipartisan thing. Yet now you are branded a conspiracy theorist if you distrust the media or our elected leaders and their appointed "experts". What changed? Nothing but the narrative! .

It has got to be the most thought-provoking movie ending I've ever seen, and it has transpired a single word of a message: "hope". And also when Evey have the chance to unmask V, she chose not to, because she knows that V's identity is more than just a human being in an oppressed world, it is an idea of freedom. The idea that would never dies. Also, in the scene where the citizens started to unmask themselves, there are also a couple of characters who died before that like Gordon, Valerie, Ruth and the girl with glass, appear in the crowd. Which symbolized theie ideas of hope and freedom lives on.

Just ask the people living in the congo if the idea of freedom will never die. Reality is, a dictator only needs to be able to motivate about 10% of the population to follow him to guarantee absolute power. The invention of the machine gun greatly marginalizes the value of *numbers* As technology advances, *the people* matter less, not more. I mean, Biden actually said that he wasn't worried about the people rising up against the government because the government has nukes and fighter jets and the people don't. That really sums it up, doesn't it?

Anyone else read the Count of Monte Cristo and come here just for that one line, "He was Edmund Dantes". Art gives us permission to live a certain way by showing us what it looks like to live that. It puts words to our passions, confirms our desires, and shows us how to go about getting what we want. Gives me chills that line.

I came here hoping this happens IRL nowadays. It's really needed more than ever.

That line actually inspired me to reread it. I'd read an abridged version back in middle school. I bought an unabridged version off Barnes & Noble in all its 1000+ pages of glory. The parallels between the characters are clearly evident. The messages are quite different though.

Now more than ever, people need to realise the truth of these current events. I feel that there are to many people still asleep to what is going on, really going on right now.

Predicting the future is a tricky thing. For example, if you are correct, what will be the defining moment? Will it be when the public accepts the masks? or when the masks are finally removed? Perhaps when the populist firebrand 'blows up' the establishment and all the masks come off? Complicated Business 😎

The Ayrton light (the green light that is lit when Parliament is in session) was lit up in this scene, meaning that parliament was talking before the palace went booming, which means they killed off a lot of people, bravo to V

It feels like this is what we need in America. We are leading to a totalitarian government. So many people have predicted this moment and I feel like it’s going to happen with the Statue Of Liberty. Quote me 01/05/23.

To the credit of the production, music so familiar, to the point of cliche, is made fresh and powerful through sight and sound. What a spectacle.

I don’t know if this was intentional but I find it slightly amusing how V dawns a Guy Fawks mask when Guy Fawks himself was a famous revolutionary who died before being able to strike a match stick
@mierbeuker81483 жыл бұрын
Wait...what?!? You don't know if it was intentional?!? I suppose you probably don't know why they specifically chose Guy Fawkes Day, I mean, the 5th of November, to blow up parliament either?!? I mean, I don't know how they could have possibly made the Guy Fawkes connection any more obvious, and intentional at every level, but sure. Well done for spotting it then, I suppose. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Isn't that the point of this scene though? That V is supposed to be everybody? We don't need a V figure; we need to recognize that we ARE V, if can just find the courage.

What never ceases to amaze me about this movie is the film makers reversed just about every theme of original story for this movie, and still told an entertaining tale, that in its own way was as entertaining as the original work.

My headcanon is that since they never removed V's mask they're not 100% sure that he's dead. Therefore he may still be barely alive and conscious while on the subway train of explosives. While aware that he is about to die he can at least do so with the satisfaction that his plans will certainly succeed and he will leave this mortal coil completing what Guy Fawkes set in motion so many years before.
