These men shared such vulnerable moments with us. I’m glad Jimin showed us his hair. He looks amazing as always. It sure is a big change for them. They’re leaving their families, pets and homes. Army will feel a big void and hope they stay safe and come back happy.

It's been an emotional roller-coaster, for Army's, for BTS members, and it will probably still go on for a while. Feels a bit like the world is suspended right now following the enlistment. I'm looking forward to what they have prepared for us and wish them well during MS.

I’m a bit worried for V. I pray that he remains strong and safe given his challenging training. V always thinks of what he could give to Army. He worked non stop to film before leaving for the military.

Makes me sad I missed their lives but at least get to see it when I got the chance. Seeing Jimin with his hair cut made me think when he was younger. I look forward when they come back from the military. I hope they all are happy and healthy. I think they work hard for us Army and for themselves especially since they have been working hard all their life.

The members have never been afraid of challenges. The first few weeks will be difficult, but when their spirits are high, they all go 1000%. That's what they are, bulletproof.

Thank you for posting updates of BTS. The irony of the guys enlisting is: they can be called up to active conflict (Heaven forbid), but they will get rest from frantic fans, hectic schedules, touring, etc. With the normal military life, they will get healthier and stronger from daily active training. Army, look up at the starry night sky. All those stars are the promises and wishes BTS and Army made to each other. When you feel sad/emotional, just look up at the stars and remember 💜...

Jimin looks so handsome! So does every member. They are strong and they will come back stronger, wiser!! We'll be right here waiting for them all!!!!

Jimin looked fantastic with his shaved head. We all put a lot of stock and pride in our hair. Taking care of it. Cut and coloring it and making sure it always looks nice. I think that it might be overwhelming to have your head shaved. What I saw on his face was a man who was facing what might be one of the biggest challenges of his life. He did it with grace and dignity. You would have to be a stone not to be emotional. I do not think that being away from the spotlight for this period of time is going to ultimately have a negative effect on their careers. They are going to be in even more demand. The Jonas Brothers didn’t have to do something as major as join the military but they had their time away from the spotlight, to some degree, and came out of it as just a popular but appealing to a wider range of audiences. What BTS is doing is setting a wonderful example of how to be good citizens. I wish them the best! P.S. I cried at the end.

They've been together for over 10 years and spent more time with one another than their biological siblings. We know that all of them are emotional from time to time so it would not be anything unexpected for any of them to cry at this time. I wish there was a way we could write oldfashioned letters to them. They will be off SM, but seeing messages of love, support and loyalty would sure mean a lot where they are going now. jackson wang of GOT7 once said that he always admired his friend BTS RM because as the group leader, RM had foresight and planned ahead, so together with the rest of the members, BTS is always ahead of the curve compared to other kpop groups. that said, it would not be surprising if BTS together with their management team have already prepared a program for their return and reunion in 2025. the question of could the BTS example be replicated by other kpop groups -- it depends on the leadership, vision, and unity of the group as well as the influence and resources of their management agency. it also helps that despite being super successful as a group, each member has proven also to be solo megastars on their own who leave at the top of their game. BTS is lucky, it seems, to have all the ingredients for them to return in a big way after their mandatory military service.

I think a lot of the reason that Jin and JHope have advanced quickly is also their incredible self-discipline in addition to their amazing fitness. I don't think it matters to them that they are not career military, it's their innate self-discipline and competitive (? not sure that's the right word) attitude that drives them to advance and be the best they can be regardless of the situation.

Aunque lo has dicho en forma de broma, lo cierto es que seguramente volverán del ejército con amigos y experiencias que les marcarán para siempre (esperemos que sean buenos recuerdos). Cuando yo era joven en mi país el SM era obligatorio y esa experiencia les duraba de por vida, no importaba los años que hubieran pasado desde que la hicieron, siempre que había otro hombre terminaban contando su experiencia y sus batallitas.... un aburrimiento. Jimin es coqueto y estaba preocupado por dar mala impresión. No entiendo por qué, tiene unas facciones muy dulces y siempre se ve guapo. No sé como funcionan los ascensos en el ejercito, supongo que un superior propondrá el ascenso de alguien dependiendo de su desempeño y actitud en las tareas que deben hacer. Por eso, como bien dices Dave, no van a tener ningún problema, tienen un gran sentido del trabajo en grupo, son disciplinados, trabajadores, proactivos y sus rutinas como BTS son exigentes y están en forma.

The boys, including Jungkook, did mention they were recording content before they entered the Army. In the live they stated there should be enough to last until Jin was released. Jungkook (I think) even mentioned he thought he should record something more for ARMY after the live. I think ARMY definitely has something to look forward to and hold on to while we wait.
