Great that you are still around, I was wondering what happened as you haven't uploaded video's for a long time. It was a real shock to hear that Ed passed away. Initially I couldn't believe it. Very sad news to hear that an awesome guy / great engineer / tinkerer is not with us anymore. Your orange cat looks very good, they are great for quality control. Nice 1 banger diesel engine. Look forward to more vids.

RIP Ed, I was wondering where he got to, followed Ed on his adventures for years, he was a great inspiration and good laugh and entertainment. He was unique and will be dearly missed, genuinely shed a tear for you and his family, I wouldnt have begun half my projects if Ed's videos weren't there to motivate me or teach me new things, I started watching him when I was 16, am now 22, and even know I never new him on a personal level I can personally thank him for his input and and all the laughs he gave us. Spoke to him quite a few times over youtube was always informative and willing to help/answer any questions I had, I hope he passed painfully, and now can live forever in our memories, thank you for sharing this I really do appreciate it, was wondering where my favorite youtuber went, suppose I'll now go re-watch some videos in his honour.

My severely belated condolences. I loved watching his videos and subscribed to him years ago. It was only today (Jan. 28, 2020) that in an unrelated search that I read in Rinoa's video title the bad news, then I watched Big Clive's brief memorial video discussing the news. Again, great times, and sad, sad news, posted by a fan in the sister commonwealth nation of Canada.

He was one of the first people I subscribed to almost 10 years ago. I really hate that I am just now finding this out. His videos taught me so much and opened me to learning how to work on and fix things myself. He opened me up to the world of youtubers like yourself that tinkers, fixes, and just teaches how things work. It's just incredibly sad that we've lost someone like him. I miss seeing you and Ed doing videos regularly and teaching us things while also just having fun and being destructive. I looked forward to both of your videos after work every week. I know life gets in the way and youtube being relatively dumb towards "smaller" content creators which disincentives frequent uploads, but people like you share knowledge and teach which is really what youtube was all about. I'm really going to miss hearing hearing his intro with every new video.

V8Jagnut and Aussie50 were also among the first subscriptions I had. Crazy to think that was a decade ago! Their videos inspired me to post up some of my own. I've watched Ed's content since, well, the days of that ratty old camera. Never saw this coming. So sad. Of course, I don't pretend to know Ed, but perhaps he was lonely? Folks, if you are depressed, or are even remotely thinking of taking your life, you NEED TO REACH OUT to someone, anyone! Family, friends, suicide prevention hotlines. To paraphrase Kurzgesagt's Loneliness video: "[Reaching out] is NOT a sign of weakness, but of COURAGE." Ed, you made a positive impact on more people than you know. RIP mate. P.S. Jillian got the DOOM ATM, right?

Just now learnt of Ed’s passing. I’m shocked, and a bit sick to my stomach. I was so used to him not posting a lot for a while but when I saw he hadn’t posted in many many months I can right over here. Saw the title of this video and figured damn, aussie50 channel must have been nuked for some reason. But this is worse then I could have ever imagined. Ed seemed so damn young too and looked just fine. I never Ed personally and he never know I existed beyond a subscriber count but like many I feel like I just lost a friend, a mentor, comedic relief, and mechanical genius. As passionate as Ed was about what he did I can only hope to find 10% of that joy in what I do. He was an incredible guy. Deeply saddened by his passing..

I've asked a few questions - was Ed being bullied at work - was he sacked or something - I know he found it hard to work for people - someone commented that the plastic extortion mob really treated him unfairly - is any of this right or was it the final stages of depression that got him - I'm still in relative shock .
