Wow, those are the best. You were lucky to get one. That guy James Spader wore that in that TV show he’s in. originally, the first version was an all bravery model that only came in grey. We sold a few to “The BlackList” and we got a lot of requests, so later we made it into a production hat.. it was modeled after the Borsalino Classico, which we also do designed w Borsalino. That hat has a nice history…

Stetson never shipped whippets to us this year, more than half our fall order never arrived, for obvious reasons, the covid thing, Felts are very seasonal, they don’t really ship a lot of them between May and August, but in mid to late September they all start pouring in again, you might find them out of stock everywhere at this point, many shops got next to nothing or just half their order last fall,.it was like that all over, plus..we’ve been running insane sales all year, to help pay the bills during the covid thing. So many of the felts are gone now. We went from having a crowded sales floor almost all the time..to having an empty sales floor and mostly internet sales since the pandemic. So to offset that,and to make sure we have money for straws,and to keep paying people, we made sure to keep the sick sales going all year.. we had almost 26% to 50% off for a year!! Anything we sell at half off we make zero profit,too.. We order a ton of those whippets every year, but they weren’t around this fall. We did get Temples in mink, and to offset the stetsons not arriving, we ordered some other teardrop hats that look like the whippet, The Selentino Hamilton and the Akubra Style Master were two., If u can wait till felt season, u can catch it on sale, we run 30% off a lot these days., it’s possible to find someone w some leftover stock, but I know a lot of stuff is sold out at this point all around.,
