Bill Rhodes ... True dat. I'm well aware. It's still a ton of work & sacrifice. She may not cut weight at this division but still has to watch what she eats to b exact weight. Bunch of traveling for promos & to get there. Family travels to support her. That's a long ass flight. So many factors go in to it. I know she's a work horse & stays in shape but there's extra commitment b4 a fight, for title especially. She's a professional. Sucks when others let u down. 😊

They are pro's and they should do a lot of things regarding weight management but they don't. They risk cutting at the last minute way to much and think the size advantage will be significant. Iv followed Amanda since the feeder leagues she has made many weights. It's all just too suspicious.

UFC may have to start using guidelines for weight cuts if its the issue and reason people pull out. Some fighters are trying shit to gain an edge and it fucks them up physically and mentally. If that's not the case than they need to take Nunes belt from her.

Well csac did pass a 10 point plan to combat extreme weight cutting issues. But all the commissions need to recognize this.

William Ryan...... YUP. OR SHE IS SICK! FYI ufc is introducing new divisions to offer safer choices for fighters. Woman's divisions to be 115, 125, 135, & 145lbs. Why is your 1st instinct to dismiss that Nunes as a lier, who is not ill. How about the benefit of the doubt for her. At least the First time she has EVER had a last minute "pull out"?

With hindsight the ceremonial weigh in was where AN's nerve went altogether. Valentina's body language was supremely confident. Nunes saw the writing on the wall right there and refused to fight rather than lose. A crazy thing to do . This will hurt her career far more than if she had just showed up. Amanda has diminished the credibility of female fighters in the UFC too. It's a good thing consummate professionals like Valentina are around to restore it.

I hope people will understand the differences between a 'WARRIOR' and a fighter. A 'WARRIOR' is a martial artist and a fighter is a brawler. A 'WARRIOR' will sacrifice everything even though his/her life at stake. A fighter will fights only to accept the glory of winning.

Amanda pulled out at last moment........she had months to pull out if she wanted to, but does it fight night........Amanda knows Valentina poses a threat......Amanda knows she can't deal with Valentina's counter striking & technique.

I think Amanda pulling out of the fight was planned to take the momentum from Valentia. Same thing Aldo did to Connor...didn't work. Rafael dos Anjos did the same to Connor...didn't work. Amanda's 'sickness' will not work either.

With how much UFC throws around Interim Belts like Oprah hands out gifts to her Audience I'd be pissed they didn't give me Interim belt or a 135 or 115 title shot with Interim Status on a 214 the card.

Sounds like Valentina will go after pretty much anybody for a title. What a game female. True Grit. I expect her to be champ in both Bantamweight and Flyweight given the opportunity. They may even try to pit her against Cyborg. But I prefer her to stay where she is for now. And Amanda... YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE. Defend the fucking belt or relinquish it to Valentina who obviously deserves it more.
