i caught a fever before in one of my weight cuts i couldnt fight the next day its a tough job sometimes it wont always work in your favor so i really understand what happened

Nunes didn't look like herself at the weigh in. She looked soft and not nearly with the muscle tone and definition she usually has. Amanda's physique until now always looked very strong but not this time. IF she had to pull out because of a bad weight cut and not a "legitimate" physical issue then she should be stripped of the title. Miesha had a very bad weight cut against Amanda but she still fought. She got her ass kicked but she stilled fulfilled her obligation. Amanda being on the winning end of that fight should especially know better with cutting weight and as champion she should be held to a higher standard when it comes to that. If you suffer an injury while training for the fight or you wake up legitimately with the flu or something and can't fight, that's one thing. But if you wake up because you dehydrated and starved yourself to make last minute weight and now you feel weak with an upset stomach, oh well. That's your bad.

Best case scenario Amanda made some horrendously stupid weight cut, and she was genuinely feeling like she was gonna die, or it was 90% mental and she just chocked. Either way, why should Valentina pay for it, and shouldn't this scenario be considered a forfeit.

The UFC stripped Germaine de Randamie from the title coz she wasn't an active champion, but I think what Nunes did is really not professional at all the doctor said she is physically capable of fighting and she said no I don't want to.
