Looks like ruins from a higher developed civilization. Maybe the "svartalfr" (dark elves) that were teased in the original roadmap? Black marble seems to suit their aesthetic. Those ruins definitely look like new build pieces are coming. Every ruin we ever explored in Valheim we could eventually build with the same build pieces. The original roadmap mentioned "svartalfr brigands" as one possible future update, and people have always been curious about what that means... svartalfr means dark elves, and the structures shown look alien and advanced enough to not be of viking make like the wooden houses in the meadows and the stone towers in the dark forests, swamps and mountains. The bridge-like structure could also be an aqueduct, which would be a sign of an advanced civilization. My speculation is that the dark elves once lived in an advanced civilization in the mistlands (elves and mist are often connected in saga and legend), but their civilization fell to ruin just like the others did, and now only murderous "svartalfr brigands" (tm) are left, killing on sight. Maybe they fell to a curse? Could be for us, the players, to find out.

REturning Valheim player here - Have you considered a potential chance for an automatic grinder / manual operation mob/event grinder using the Obliterator? mobs get funneled/drawn in around the Obliterator and farming them?
