Nice video bro you have the same exact specs as me. except i have 32gb ram. These settings work perfectly for me except i use GSYNC. i know some people hate the word sync but it actually stops screen tearing with negligible input delay if you use it correctly. Oh yeah you did everything but go through the nvidia control panel settings.

my mobo can't be updated cuz i got it as a pre built lol, using a gigabyte mobo, probs a way to get it to work but eh can't be arsed, i get i steady 360 fps on 1440p

when i downloaded my motherboard drivers they all downloaded as zipped files, should I unzip them or do they just work like this? probably a dumb question but im not great with this stuff, great video btw

Yes, unzip them and run the setup executable in the folder.

alot of these settings can be very dependant on hardware, my latencymon looks better with smt disabled via bios and multithreaded on in game. this wasnt the case for my girlfriend on a different cpu. other than that good video jaeky. edit: also wanted to point out the overclock could be pointless for the gpu as valorant is cpu bound and doesnt really utilize the graphics card at all. unless running at max settings but chances are youre not doing that if youre looking for game stability and fixing input delay. disabling nvidia shadowplay or the overlay entirely can also give a small boost to performance.

latencymon is a meme lol it doesn't calculate dpcs and isrs correctly. use xperf. agreed that most settings are hardware dependent, people need to do benchmarks and see whats best for them instead of blindly following youtube videos

I didn't change that setting. It's on whatever the default is.

yes and no. sadly on windows it sometimes has better preformance and somtimes it makes it worse. test it with and without

Not sure if it's worth mentioning here, however, I just went to my power plan options and found something. Previously I was on high performance, but when I checked this I had a new option for "Ultimate Performance - Higher End PCs". So I guess if you see that then tick that instead :D
