The pre-moving the bishop is actually something Levy mentioned in one of his videos about the Dutch Defence, as a tactic that he uses in bullet games!

"Vampire opening" I swear these openings are named after the most random things.

Does it not look like a vampire to you? (tone indication is hard, this is meant to be read as a sophisticated flamboyant art critic asking a rhetorical question which after some silence they then follow with "Well then, let us continue". Also they have a posh British accent)

French toast is what can be done with bread that is past its prime, to make it good again. Hence the 'lost bread'

Pain perdu is not exactly toast, this is bread soaked in egg and milk then we put it in the fried pan It's literally called lost bread not because of "the essence of bread lost" but because usually, we use bread that otherwise would have been lost. By that I mean old bread from several days that is becoming a bit hard

It's not exactly toast, but it is exactly what the English and Americans call "French toast." Typically in America at least, French toast is made sweet with egg, milk, cinnamon, and sugar. And people do put maple syrup on it.
