Dave sounds really good on this one. people are bitching about a handful of spots where he's too high pitched, sounds admittedly bad. he sounds good to really good on most songs in my opinion.

steve h Agreed! Don't worry about the haters, they're only spreading the shit that comes out of their cringe worth leader Spammy Hagar's mouth. They know no better because lets face it, they're clueless or have been deprived of great music & had to settle for Spammy Hagar instead. Kind of like missing out on all the great parties in College. I love Dave's quote "Sam might throw a party, I am the party!!" Classic Dave!! Anyway Van Halen are firing on all 4 cylinders on LIVE Tokyo Dome!!! Its unedited & totally LIVE like it should be.

Champane97 It has nothing to do with Hagar, you dope! I love the Roth era, it blows away the Hagar era, but I'm not gonna pretend Dave sounds great on this album when clearly he doesn't. More like 3 cylinders are firing & one is sputtering & firing ocassionally on TDL.

Why does every dipshit fan of this band, like you, always bring up Hagar when someone has something to say about Dave? Lol It makes zero sense...somebody criticizes Dave's vocals & dopes like you immediately play the Sam hater card. Lol I love the DLR VH era but I'm not going to pretend Dave sounds good on TDL or the 2012-13 tour when he clearly doesn't/didn't. Cute lil PS message too...Ha you couldn't beat your meat right much less anybody's ass in a debate....dream on, clown.

When I was looking at the musician credits on the album, there was nobody who was playing the keyboard. I know Eddie Van Halen played keyboard on the album "1984". But why wasn't it credited on the "Tokyo Dome" album?

Could be that being its a live album it was sampled for live play , They probably didnt have a keyboard player traveling with the band.

I know this is gonna sound weird about a Van Halen record but I think the guitar is mixed way WAY too loud on this whole record.

+cbgou812 No wonder in the liner notes (no live concert pics) the real lyrics Dave messed up were printed in red and the lyrics he didn't screw up were in regular white.

Terrible. They went out of timing with the keyboard track a couple of times, Dave sounds very bad, and the back ground vocals sounds terrible. Michael Anthony's voice was the best in VH. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
