lovely woman - very nice how she organized things. Love how she had that old case from her grandmother in the van. Also the garage is incredibly spacious! I find it really empowering that you give women (senior women) a place on your channel. It inspires tremendously, it is a tribute to women like Diane here, and it gives poeple HOPE! This was my plan B..thankfully plan A worked out...i am disabled hurt on the job(spinal injury) found out i could live abroad and still get my social security..so i moved..now i have two homes a house in a gated community and a vacation condo..to see my doc and get my meds cost about 100dollars a month...my sons catholic private school is 60 a month..the mortgage for my house 200 my condo 220...all in on a 4week month my bills usually are about 800 a month a 5 week month will go to around the 900 mark..best of luck to all..but know if like myself and you find yourself on SS consider a low cost of living country to reside...its a blessing to never worry for bills...

I love seeing the smile on Diane's face as she is showing her van to Bob. She just looks very happy, proud of her build, and content with her life. This appears to be a common theme in Bob's videos...everyone is smiling and enjoying their lives. Who could ask for more?

I liked the fact that she started with a clean sheet of paper. As a result she has a unique floor plan. When I was shopping for a van I found a new 2019 sprinter that had no sliding doors, only the rear door. I couldn’t see how I could make it work so I passed

The layout is unique and refreshing... you only have so many options considering the size of the space but she managed to do it. The use of the sideboard and secretary unit is a great idea. The side door garage/wall/bed set-up is great! Happy travels!!

What an amazing duo, the lady and her van! Well, in fact trio, never forget the dog, but unluckily the little guy was almost all the time invisible here ... ;-) This is one of those rare videos here on this channel which I had to immediately watch again, since one time watching wasn't enough for me to catch all these incredibly clever ideas and details. And it is also one of these videos where I simply cannot prioritize what was the best idea in it since here simply everything is best idea, even after watching it twice. And this means even best idea under so many different aspects, e.g. using old family heritage furniture is not only totally clever from point of functionality and design and of course also from financial POV but also a very smart method to comfort yourself by creating a new but also known and trusted and proofed environment which makes you immediately feeling at home. Absolutely amazing! Wishing you all only the best!

ALL of it was brilliant! The huge garage area, deck, skylight, back door not side door gave extra walls for cupboards etc. With a shower planned later with hot water, to me, this is the ultimate! Well done!

The slide out deck was interesting. Would have expected a sky light and cross ventilation? Very individual build to her taste. Eclectic and different. Good storage and amenities. Entire screen house in roof top storage. She could camp comfortably for days.

Fabulous ideas. The wall and garage, the deck, the storage ideas with wooden dressers/secretary. I would have a slide out slat base for the bed and use back cushions to fill it out. That way I’d have the hallway during the day and a more comfortable bed at night.

That walling in the side door is something I would never have thought of but it really opens up many design possibilities doing it that way; if I had to pick one thing that is my favorite because that and raising floor makes the other design elements possible like the garage and deck. Great job and I love the name of her YT channel, Cultivating Life. I'm not sure why but it makes me think of a gardening show I like, Growing a Greener World.

Thanks, Bob for another Great Video. Among many interesting ideas, one of my favorites is the pseudo sink. A sanity saving dedicated pseudo tidy spot to put stuff while ‘doing a day’. That way you always know where things are until actually tidying at a convenient time. The hanging trash can might be great, too. A tie for first place? The deck - a marvelously versatile horizontal space of luxurious proportions. Yahoooo. Cheers, and happy trails 🙏🏼🐾🎶
