Our UK van life troubles continue and we leave North Yorkshire and head south on a nervous drive to see family before heading to another mechanics to find out if its game over for our van? After all the issues we've had since arriving in the UK, we're about to give in, we can't go down the road of trying to find another replacement Axle/Diff after being stranded for almost a month and it not working out now.. It's make or break time!

After watching many van KZfaqrs have van trouble I now join the club. My mini bus (home) died yesterday. Fuel pump will cost me £2500 to fix :( currently broken down outside the mechanics

I have followed him for ages and he was the man but you were too far away, but then i saw you were sorted sort of :-). Any way i messaged him last week and told him you were fixed but he said Nope they are here in the workshop Camping ......LOL. small world Anyway Small. world as they say.... There are good doctors that know the body instinctively and can diagnose and there are bad doctors that can’t. The same with mechanics. I would keep going back to this guy if you can.

It could've been the drop in temperature that's loosened the nut. Probably worth doing a quick check on it in case there's something not right there and it eventually loosens again. To be fair the guy did that work at the roadside and maybe couldn't torque it properly.'MAD Mick' did a great job. Hope that's it sorted for a while now.
