@@agentburningbutters3655 I mean it's one of two cases, it's either Freddy is the affected one, or Freddy is the one unaffected, if it's the former then that means Freddy is fully wrong, if it's the latter Freddy is somewhat right but the other (self-aware) animatronics are affected by _something_ and that caused them to change

@Nick the Knife Yeah, great idea. Have the animatronics come to the place you got caught about 30 seconds later. Definetly wouldn't be too easy and getting caught wouldn't be impossible. Why even have animatronics in the game? this game should be just a simple free roam. The teleporting does break the immersion a bit, but it's the only GOOD way of applying the animatronics without having every security bot be a game over. The Pizzaplex is gigantic and you can't have the bots only being able to roam around without any gameplay tricks, or else it's easier way too easy for the player or imposible for them. The teleorting doesn't suck, your idea does.

@Nick the Knife Teleporting does suck when its on screen but its not so bad otherwise tbh. Chica blatantly teleports even when locked on and that much i personally don't mind because after 29 hours in the game I find it to be her "thing" and something to look out for more than anything else.

@@stqrrykasa nah, its just a error on both the voice actors and whoever set what lines to play. vannessa's vo read one of gregories lines, and that line voiced by her got placed along with greg's lines, and then whoever set the lines to play in the cutscene didnt check the audio. while not a bug, its still a mistake and will probably be fixed in the games first patch.

Most elevators have safety precaution that if you put something between the doors, it will open soon after. You can even see the doors oppening by themselves after it budges it a bit. Since it is a pizzaplex designed for kids first-of-all, I wouldn't be suprised that the doors themselves weren't preety light to open too

Looking back at the beginning is particularly jarring, since it felt like it was setting up a completely different story by giving the player some key questions to hook them in: Why did Freddy glitch out on stage while none of the others did, and what threat was he detecting? Who exactly _is_ Gregory; why was HE chosen as the protagonist of this story? Why was he in the Pizzaplex in the first place, and what caused him to fear Vanessa so much (especially if his goal was to get out, and her being a security guard, would've presumably just escorted him)? Why did Freddy mysteriously feel compelled to protect Gregory at the start? What caused the animatronics to turn hostile towards Gregory PRIOR to Afton awakening in the basement ruins of the pizzeria (and on a side note: all of the animatronics had their own distinct lines, with the exception of some variation on "we're only trying to help", which seems like it would be meant to act as a bit of subtle foreshadowing or something, due to just how little we knew about the situation)? You would normally expect at least _most_ of these things to be answered within the story itself, maybe even accompanied by flashbacks and hard hitting revelations about the mysteries behind our 3 main characters, but... It just never panned out in a satisfying or cohesive way. Instead, we're only left with vague bread crumbs or just non existent answers via the comic book endings (which felt cobbled together at the last minute), or the in-game logs, which the characters NEVER react to. In fact, we're just left with even more questions: How and when did Gregory and Freddy find out about the recent "disappearances"? Why couldn't Freddy see Vanny, even though he could clearly see and speak with Vannessa? Why did Gregory's vision trip out whenever Vanny was around, and why did he never comment on it? How DID Vanessa find us in these two instances anyway, and if she's Vanny, why stick us in lost and found, ranting about the police coming, instead of just killing us? Who is 46 in those audio logs? Because there are too many logistical reasons it couldn't be Vanessa or Vanny (it's actually implied to be child, who by extension would be manipulating her and taking advantage of her mental state, which could've been a fascinating subversion on the previous FNAF storylines: with the "kid" secretly being the culprit, and the adult "serial killer" needing to be the one who's saved, all the while the animatronics are being hacked and forced to attack you, when in reality they want to help). Idk, it just feels like there's scraps of a drastically different story in here, stitched together with those comic book endings to make something far less cohesive and interesting.

You made some good points ngl, and yes I find it a bit strange that Gregory was scared of Vanessa and didn’t trust her even though he wanted to get out. But if he wanted to get out why go inside in the first place? Food and shelter probably because he’s homeless but why did he want to leave? And I don’t believe Vanessa is Vanny because Vanessa actually seems to go through an effort of finding Gregory and putting him in lost and found and trying to contact his parents/police. She could easily just kill him when she grabs him. There are some good arguements for Vanny and Vanessa being the same person but I like to think they’re two separate people. I hope our questions get answered soon, maybe in the next fnaf game. But I don’t wanna jump to conclusions until the creators reveal the answers to at least most of our questions.

@@stqrrykasa Lol, thanks. It actually didn't take me as long as usual to type that one out. That's a good point! It would make much more sense for him to want to STAY in the Pizzaplex, at least for a little while. Unless he wanted to jump ship cause Vanessa caught him (and Freddy suggested that he leaves), but even then, if his new goal was to get out anyway, who cares if Vanessa kicks you out at this point? Also, something I just realized was: Gregory says he believes Vanessa is trying to "get" him, but the one time she actually catches you in game, she DOESN'T do anything to you, and instead drops you off near the entrance. So either Gregory saw her do something VERY suspicious that caused her to lose his trust, or he initially lied to Freddy, and was only running from her because he didn't want to leave in the first place (only ducking out now to stay off her radar in the future). Again, I think that's something that you would've expected to be addressed in the game, but it wasn't. So we're left to make incomplete guesses that don't entirely make sense. Yeah, the whole Vanny/Vannessa situation is one of the most confounding parts of the game, and it's clear, to me anyway, that most of that story was cut (much like the rest of the game) to meet a deadline. Just LOOK at how few lines or scenes Vanessa and Vanny have in this game in general! The fact that Vanessa's therapist mentions she's bought fake fur for some kind of project (that she didn't want to talk about) implies she must be Vanny, but then that vague, cobbled together ending with Vanessa in the fire, as well as Vanessa's putting Gregory in Lost and Found, screaming about his parents and the police instead of just killing him, completely contradict this idea. It really feels like there's SOMETHING that we're missing here that just isn't in the actual game. As for future FNAF games, I wouldn't hold my breath tbh. Scott already retired from the series, and I don't see third parties being able to sustain it with a level of quality for very long.

Well, she can only see important items, like prize boxes and doors. Gregory is human and can't be seen with that upgrade.

Because Batman can see other things in Detective Mode other than people and robots, like wires, collectibles, and items/weapons. Though, Roxanne's vision would be so broken gameplay wise if she could see the player through the walls, and if Freddy can see the other animatronics, because then the player would know the whereabouts of the animatronics and take the horror and surprise element of the game.
