I installed my T1 Touch display/controller and am very happy with it. I do kind of wish the controller was a constant speed accelerator instead of pedal assist output. I paid $130 through Aliexpress. But this is clearly the best controller on the market with a touch screen and USB port and all the configuration options you would expect. Mine is on a bike with a Bafang BBSHD 1000 watt mid-drive motor. I will post my own review and my experience installing everything in a few days. I have not figured out how to configure the battery life readout yet so that is something I will have to study some more. The T1 is fairly easy to configure.

Why is the font so stylized? It makes it hard to read and discern at glance. For some reason every next bafang display gets worse in some way.

Does this have quick release bracket I don't want it stolen when I'm in town? Also can you set the display to mph? Thanks

It is not quick release bracket. You can change the disppla to mph.

The Varstrom display does not accept the pasword defunct setting of 1000001. I wish to enter that mode to change from 5 assist levels to 9 levels... Any thoughts..

That's weird. Do you have the instructions? I can provide you with one, it could be a firmware issue.

Even your inside studio lights take way the ability to view.. how does it do in full sunlight (is the screen black in the sun?). Is this a (Standard TFT LCD) or is it a (sunlight readable TFT that is meant for out door sunlight use? You can't see the Standard TFT in the sun, and I"m tired of buying expensive displays that are obviously designed to be view only inside or in the shade of a tree..(that makes them unacceptable for Ebike Riding.. We don't ride in the shade or in doors.. This looks like another expensive display that no one can see while riding. When are they going to design an appropriate Ebike, Sun light readable TFT display that is functional in sunlight?

Hi, sorry to reply to you after a year, I realise I've overlooked some comments, have you heard of the display P860C-ML? We have made some improvements on this display so that the display can be seen more clearly in sunlight.

@@varstromebikeconversion5837 Yes I wasted $120 on the P860c display; still can not see it in the sun.. works great at night.. but i do not ride at night. Garmin Edge uses the Sunlight Readable TFT displays that make the map appear to float above the glass display.. That TECH could be used in Ebike displays.. and there are plenty of riders that would pay the extra amount to be able to see WATTS. SPEED, VOLTAGE etc... I have the Garmin Edge 1030 PLUS, and i can see it very well i the sun.. Actually better in direct sun light hitting the display..

Hi.. today i got my T1 display... and it's great.. but how to unlock more speed ? It's now locked to 15km/h!?

You can cancel the speed limit from the Advanced Settings, but the setting has to work under the permission of the controller, if it is the controller who locks the speed, the display can not canceled it.

You need to enter the default password of 100001 to unlock the speed governor. I am eager to see what the top speed is with my Bafang BBSHD 1000 watt motor but I am not really interested in speed I need serious high climbing where I ride. I have a 52 volt LiFePo4 battery with 25 amp/hour capacity so I am hoping for some significant range without a recharge.

Your motor might be limited too, you can get a bafang USB cable to change the motor settings
