I agree with all of those things, it's just plain cool 😎🏍👍 my Monster makes small dogs bark and small boys point 😄 I parked it outside my local bike dealer while I was asking about a lock and a boy inside started saying to his dad look it's a monster!!! His dad went wow look at that. The showroom was full of brand new bikes but they all went outside and just stared at the monster......says it all

Couldn't agree more! But i guess it all depends on taste. I'd rather look at a bunch of old Monsters than a line up of the latest/greatest ones, or especially superbikes.

Monster 620 was my Grail-bike for 10 years. Kept a model of one on my desk until the moment was right. I also have verbalised stream-of-consciousness when riding; talking to myself and other road-users. Yeah, BMW-owners are 'special' ;O)

#7. They are quite "flickable" and they are great in the turns! #8. The engine sounds unique & different than your garden variety bike. Ex. all rice burners sound alike with their high revving whine but the engine of a risoto burner (duck, Aprilia) sounds waay different and it makes people stop and take a moment to see what's coming their way.
@ducatinyc

I had a Honda CBR600F. a nice bike, with enough power, but being a 4 inline it needed quite high rpm's to be any fun. which during a commute through a couple of small villages wasn't so great due to the noise it produced. so, 1 more reason your monster is a better choice. more low down grunt.

620 and 695 are very similar, 696 uses a whole new chassis and body style/tank and has more power and longer service intervals. I only know my 620. Dude I love how people think you need a big bike to go fast 😟 I am from Kentucky and I had this KID teach me how to ride. I’m not saying I’m anywhere as good as he was (miss you bro) but I loved taking my little Supermoto and beating up on 1000cc bikes on the back roads and I think I had more fun 😎. I have rode with some skilled racers from MotoGP to WERA instructors from mid Ohio it’s not just the bike it’s the rider. Most people can’t ride to the max of that bike.
@ducatinyc
@ducatinyc 6 жыл бұрын

It is more fun to use all of the power of a lighter, fast, flickable bike like a 620 Monster with a Desmodromic L-Twin rather than constrain the power (to keep from killing yourself) on a liter + V-4 bike like a Panigale. On the other end of the spectrum is my Victory Geezer Glide with a Freedom V-Twin. More grunt than a pig farm and makes a nice note. They make a flavor for every rider in every stage of your riding experience. There is always something to look forward to. "It's a good thing." 2
