I've tried thinking about it but I don't think it would be any different from hexagonal because triangles tiled on a plane aren't all in the same orientation unlike squares and hexagons

i wouldn't call that "all 3" since there's more tilings, just not quite usable for cell machine (even tho, honestly, triangles are kind of weird to use for cell machine already)
