Okay, so I haven't looked at *all* of the comments (so forgive me and disregard if someone already said all this), but the MOST IMPORTANT thing with a spot cleaner, and the way it will change your life: NEVER put detergent/soap/cleaner IN the machine. You spray a cleaner of your choice on the spot and use the machine for scrubbing/extracting with hot water only. That is THE key to the miracle of these machines. The cleaners made to work with the machine are subpar in my experience of them, and the best way to achieve their potential is by using the cleaner of your choice directly on the item you're cleaning, and removing that cleaner with hot water from the machine. Step one: Fill machine with hot water. Step two: Spray or pour your cleanser on the item you're cleaning. Step three: Scrub the area with the brush on your extractor head. Step four: push the button to add water to your scrubbing motion and start extracting until the water you're sucking up is clear and bubble-free. I've not yet met a stain on furniture, carpet, or my car that a spot cleaner machine can't lift.

For staining like that, I definitely pretreat before taking the machine to it.

We have one too. For spots you'll have to let the solution sit a bit and work it's magic and then go over and suck everything up. Tested on cat puke spots on a rug, more than once.😂

On stains I use dr Beckman carpet stain remover, let it sit, scrub it a bit and then suck it up using hot water in the spot cleaner. Works like a charm 😊

I have this. It's brilliant. I bought a second-hand couch, and after using this, it looks brand new. But I had to use a lot of solution. I bought the bigger bottle of solution and used it all and half of the smaller bottle that you get free with purchase. I used it on a big two and three seater couch. They are fabric material and look unreal. I loved using it. My friend and I were fighting over having turns 😅😂.

I have that exact same machine and it’s absolutely amazing! I had spilled an entire 500ml bottle of balsamic vinegar on my car seat and it sucked everything right out. I also use it every now and then on my sofa because we have a dog and it does an amazing job.

I usually pre treat with a upholstery stain remover spray, let it sit for a few hours, then fill up the machine with hot water. Sometimes it takes a few tries if the stains are really old

Yeah, I second leaving it to soak in a wee bit. It’s very similar to my bissell, I managed to remove a large chocolate stain with mine, my sister borrowed it and removed a very old stain from those luminous kids antibiotics.

Letting the product ‘dwell’ on the fabric for ten mins will help with the clean. Your home is so super tidy ❤

I have to say this is the best thing I ever bought. £70 new . I use varnish carpet shampoo instead of their own brand. I've done my stairs my car mattresses and living room. Watch the hose I needed to replace mine really fast as it doesnt really take bending. 👍💜🏅

You need ti change the cleaner gel...the ones that you get with the machine are very delicate..i use some chanteclair chloride cleaner or something a little but stronger..don't worry,usually chairs or sofas are made to endure the harsh stuff

Spray marks with elbow grease first leave for 10-15 longer if proper ingrained then use the spot cleaner

Might want to test a hidden spot first to pretreat! I have sometimes put a few drop of tea tree oil to sanitize..

It's a good item to have around the house,,,use mine for mattress cleaning

You're meant to push the nosel forward whilst it's in contact with the surface, releasing the solution at the same time. Then pulling it back stop releasing the solution

Would suggest spraying it with dish soap and then using the machine

Girl you HAVE to research your fabrics BEFORE taking ANYTHING to them…. And if the item can be cleaned using the spot cleaner see what products are safe to pre treat the dirtiest areas and it will save you loads of time 😊❤

tip spray chemical using a spray bottle ans use hot water where u normally the chemical it work better

I have this machine. It's okay for smaller jobs. I use liquid laundry soap for upholstery seems to work better

I have one of these . I've used it in the car seats and in the home . It's very good for what it is . Don't put to much pressure on the head though as you can damage that clear bit on the end

You need to agitate the dirt with the brush thats already on the nozle before yoy vacuum it up

You have to at least scub it before pulling back and sucking up the water. It doesn't work great on seats without a solid base or it has nothing to be pushed against and the water just stays in the seat.

“How it sucks it all up” I presume you didn’t notice the cleaning solution is empty and there’s only an inch at best in the dirty water canister.. Hope you did this in the summer as your sofa cushions are still sodden 😂
